Learn how to make this star entirely different than the "old fashioned way" — a reinvented method to make Folded Star Hot Pads that's easy and fun with no measuring or drawing!
There are tricks that make it a fun and easy project.
The star is built with 4 layers of folded triangles plus batting, making it thick enough to protect a surface from a hot plate.
Triangles are not pieced together, but laid over-lapping each other and the interfacing forms a basis for the hot pad, as well as being a ruler to position the triangles on.
Make them scrappy and or traditional.
Great for beginners.
