• The left portion of the quilt represents the blue field of the flag, which is a patchwork of cream stars, each with eight points, on a montage of blue fabric prints with a pieced-together look. 
• The right side of the fabric panel is comprised of horizontal stripes in alternating shades of reds and creams, representing the stripes of the American flag. Each stripe is made from a different printed pattern, adding texture and visual interest.

A delicate cream border with a leafy vine motif adds the finishing touch.
